46. Googling Kindergarten Homeschool Language Curriculum? Here’s Why You Can’t Teach Reading Without Phonics!
Maybe you’re type A and you’ve already ordered your Kindergarten, Grade One or Grade Two Homeschool Language Curriculum for the year. Maybe you’re a little less type A and are just getting around to googling homeschool kindergarten reading. Either way, whichever homeschool reading curriculum you choose, phonics must be a core component. In my 10 + years experience teaching children ages 4-8 to read, explicitly teaching your child all 44 sound-symbol relationships in the English Language is most successfully taught through core phonics instruction.
